Ok, I have not updated in a long time so I will.
Starting with the week before thanksgiving.
I need glasses. I didn't want them, still kind of don't. my mom said I was being conceded thinking I would not look good in them. That's not the case, I think I look really good in them. I just don't want to be dependant on something. I got them in and they have problems. I see 3 images of every light. I set up another appt to take a look at this problem. Everyone says its the lenses except for the nurse at the eye doctor.
Travis got all his stuff moved into the basement. I didn't think the TV would make it. Only a slight scratch to the wall, and it cant really be seen, so all is good. We got it in and put it on the rolling cart. The thing he made held. I have to admit I had my doubts, I shouldn't have, it worked great. Thins are still scattered, but it will get better really soon. It actually looks allot better then it did.
I was supposed to go to Colorado with my brother to see out parents. He was feeling really sick, ever since his birthday, and finally went into the emergency room the night before we were supposed to leave. Turns out he has mono and can not go. I talked with my parents and ended up booking a flight out to Colorado. Crystal and I woke up early and she drove me to the airport. We got some starbucks and then she left to go back to the house. By 7:45 I was on a plane. I really don't like flying, never really have, and this was new since it was just me on the plane. it was nice having crystal drive me the airport, it calmed me down and made me not thing about the plane. When I got off the plane I turned on my cell and saw I had a new message. It was Travis calling to let me know he got my message about my last minute travel plans. I also told me and made me promise not to check my e-mail while I was out. He had a recording of him asking me (I still think it was faked, lol). I was still nervous even though I was safely on the ground and hearing the message calmed me down as well.
I flew into Denver and had some time before my mother got off work. My Dad and I went around town looking at different things. We went to The Denver Art Museum (DAM). Because I work for the Nelson I got in for free, whoo hoo, it saved us 16 dollars though. All in all it was a fun day, but then we had to drive down to Colorado springs. I got to my parents new house, it is totally awesome. I saw the pictures but seeing it in person is allot better. I got my stuff set up in the basement. Cant remember what we didn't that night but something interesting. We then made thanksgiving dinner and ate around 4. The turkey was really good, all the food was great, I even brought some back for crystal.
The day after we did some stuff around the house and then drove to the top of pikes peak. I got some pretty good pictures, Ill post them tomorrow. Other then that we just did some running around exploring the city.
On Saturday I caught myself asking what day it was. This was a good thing, it meant I was relaxing. My dad and I took the ATV's out to a national forest with really cool trails. once I got the hang of it I had a blast. Went full speed over some hille, got some air on them as well, put it back down and kepf going, riding the turn. It was really fun. That night we all watched a few movies and hung around the house. The view of the city at night from the house is one of the best I have ever seen. You can be watching TV and glance to the left and there are all the city lights right out the window. What a view. In the daytime you can see pikes peak and other mountains. Really a nice area to be in.
Sunday I helped my Dad with a few things around the house and prepared for my flight out. We got allot of stuff done. I usually have a few things he needs help with while I'm out there, but happy to help.
Monday I had 3 hours of sleep and then got up to get on the plane. We drove up to Denver and got to the airport about 2 hours early. I ate some breakfast and then went over and waited for the plane. I got on the plane and tried to sleep on the way back. This didn't work. I got into KC around 10;00 and crystal picked me up. We drove to the river market and ate with my Co-Workers. I went with them back to the office, this was a bad idea. I could not work for most of the day. I was there physically but not mentally. I really didn't know how tired I was until I literally could no think of what I was doing. I felt kind of sick and Travis and I went home early. He was my ride.
Well, that's allot to put up for one day. Probably to much, no one will reda it. If you have made it this far then I congratulate you. I will post more tomorrow, it starts getting a bit more interesting and has a plot twist.
